Its design draws inspiration from the surrounding museum district through five themes: botany, music, geometry, ornithology and astronomy. These ideas appear in the interiors, decorative details and collections of curiosities, connecting the experience of staying here with the neighbourhood outside. The property reopened in its modern incarnation in summer 2012, continuing the story of a building formerly known as The Norfolk Hotel.
